Endura and the 2005/66/EC Directive
The Endura Frontal Protection System complies with the 2005/66/EC EP & Council Directive relating to the use of frontal protection systems on motor vehicles (1.3MB PDF).

The manufacture and sale of FPS that do not conform to the 2005/66/EC for pedestrian protection will be illegal from 25th May 2007. A U.K. distributor or dealer infringing upon this directive will be convicted under the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 (No. 1803 CONSUMER PROTECTION) which carries a maximum £20,000 fine and /or 12 months in prison.

Independent Test Results
 

*Concept Mouldings Limited claim arises from tests the results of which can be found at www.frontalprotectionsystems.eu undertaken by CML at accredited independent test association, MIRA (Motor Industry Research Association) in accordance with FPS Directive 2005/66/EC on a typical SUV and LCV with test results showing a "risk of pedestrian head injury" reduced from >99% to 2% when a prototype Endura Frontal Protection System was fitted.
